Sale of 66 Shoe Lane to Wing Tai Properties

Endurance Land and partners has successfully sold 66 Shoe Lane to Wing Tai Properties for £255m.

Originally acquired in July 2018, Endurance Land negotiated the surrender of Deloittes existing lease allowing the extensive refurbishment and extension to take place. The repositioning scheme was designed by architects Stiff and Trevellion and constructed by ISG . this involved the infilling of atria and the addition of a two storey extension on the southern wing to add approximately 10,000 sq ft of lettable area, as well as enhancing the arrival experience both on approach and internally. The flexible ground floor design proved successful in the pre-letting campaign as Delloite signed a pre-let on approximately 75,000 sq ft, prior to the commencement of works, for their Digital division, benefitting from their own dedicate entrance.

The Bream Excellent and WiredScore Platinum scheme with an expansive roof terrace, state of the art commuter facilities and balcony space on every floor proved too attractive for Deloitte who midway through construction signed on the remainder of the space placing them back in the building they had vacated just 2 years prior.
